Let me be start by saying that I class myself as the jack of most sports but the master of only 1 or 2, and football was not one that I was able to master other than holding the accolade of top goal scorer with 36 at U13s many moons ago. However now prefer the more relaxed sport of golf.
I am very fortunate to have been involved with this fine football club now for the last 3 years. Last year I stood as fundraiser for the club and was asked to stand as chairman this season something I class to be a real honour, and I am very proud to know a group of fantastic parents and equally talented young footballers.
With this committee and its varied knowledge of football and enthusiasm for boys to play football I am sure that we have the dedication that is needed to give these talented young men the start in football that is second to none.
